That seems to be a smal, number considering the Milky Way Galaxy have tens of thousands of stars.

Perhaps I should have been more specific. I meant with civilizations on a par with ours or more advanced. In other words intelligent life forms!

Anyway,since just a cluster could have up to several millions of stars,we would have more than that.
